Family, Children's and Youth Activities*
Crèche
For little ones aged three or under. Crèche meets every morning service and can be found through the side door marked “Crèche”! Please feel free to stay with your child, or to leave them to play in the care of our Crèche team.
Power House
For children aged from three to nine (School nursery to year 4). Power House meets most Sundays, all year round, when the children leave, during the morning service, for their own activities on “The Stage” beside the Livingstone Hall. Children join one of the three Small Groups, Bubbles (nursery + reception), Pop (years 1+ 2), and Splash (years 3 + 4). Special events are organised throughout the year. Come and join in the fun!
Youth Centre
Small Groups for young people meet in the youth Centre on Sunday mornings and evenings, all year round.

Connection is for those aged nine to thirteen (school years 5 to 8.) and meets most Sundays. The young people leave, during the morning service, for their own activities in the Youth Centre, above the Livingstone Hall. Other events are held twice a month on Friday evenings.
Spectacular is for those aged thirteen to sixteen (school years 9 to 11) and meets most Sundays. The young people leave, during the morning service, for their own session in the Youth Centre, above the Livingstone Hall.
Student Group
Older Young people (school years 12 to undergraduates, or equivalent) meet on Sunday evenings in a home group setting for Bible study as well as for informal social activities.

Carers and Toddlers Group
Meets on Mondays, with both morning and afternoon sessions, in the Livingstone Hall. Each session provides one and a half hours of fun activities and play for pre school children and their carers.
Dads on Saturdays (DOS)
It’s for dads. It’s for pre-school kids. It’s on Saturdays. We play with toys. We eat bacon butties. We drink real coffee… but we don’t sing songs!
WBBC Junior Football Club
Whitley Bay Baptist Church runs regular football events for ages 9 to 17. Please see the Sporting Events page for further details.
Baby Club
Meets in Livingstone Hall on Friday mornings. Run by North Tyneside Primary Care Trust with the help of volunteers from Whitley Bay Baptist Church the baby club caters for new mums and babies, providing breakfast, social interaction and access to healthcare professionals and volunteers. * - All adults working with children and young people have references checked in accordance with the Baptist Union 'Safe to Grow' process. They then undergo a Criminal Records Bureau police check in accordance with our child protection policy.
